The Modern Team Workshop
Fun, Engaging, Insightful
Workshop’s Objective: To create a fun, engaging and insightful experience that enables your Modern Team to emerge.
Workshop’s Key Results: To demonstrate how the Modern Team concepts deliver 50+% increased business results for our fictitious company and significantly increase employee engagement.
Why is the Modern Team Workshop Different!
The key to changing people’s behaviour is to change their thinking. Their mental models of how things work. Our teams use playing golf to simulate business processes, sales, production, service, support, etc. In the first game our fictitious company operates like the majority of organisations today. This is followed by a guided discussion on what worked and where improvements can be made. These observations are discussed in relation to the challenges their own organisation faces.
In the second game, the golf is played the same way but we introduce Modern Team concepts. The end result is typically business results improved by greater than 50% and an increase in engagement.
The people’s mental models are challenged by the results they just experienced. This leads to changes in thinking and consequently behaviours.
Anyone can play, from the experienced golfer to the novice! In fact, a wide range of golfing skills adds to the teamwork learning. To assist with the flow of the golf rounds, the simulators are configured with options that allows everyone to enjoy themselves.
